Casualty spoilers follow.
Casualty has confirmed a new storyline for nurse Robyn Miller, which will see her relationship with will see her relationship with Paul Pegg put to the test.
In scenes which will air this weekend (January 14), Robyn and receptionist Paul are flirting when the pair are interrupted by an old school friend named Damien, aka Damo. After he arrives in the ED, Robyn is happy to see a familiar face and is clearly impressed when Damo reveals he is doing well for himself.
Paul on the other hand is less impressed, feeling self-conscious after hearing Damo's boasting about his work and success.

Paul is then left feeling even more deflated after Damo makes a comment about his relationship with Robyn, wondering aloud about why the nurse would be interested in him.
The comments leave Paul feeling paranoid he isn't good enough for Robyn and that she will eventually lose interest. His feelings lead him to accepting an offer of extra work from Damo in hopes of making extra money to spoil Robyn.

Robyn has faced her fair share of dramatic storylines over the year at the ED, dealing with serious health complications from IVF surrogacy and a rocky start to her relationship with Paul.
Robyn actress Amanda Henderson previously spoke about her early days on the show, revealing she was convinced she'd be "sacked" on her first day in the role.
"My first day of filming was with Suzanne Parker. We walked up and looked through the window at the busy ED," she told TV Times while discussing the past decade she's spent playing Robyn.
"I could hear Sunetra [Sarker] do all this medical speak and I remember thinking, 'I'm never going to be able to do this. I'm going to be sacked on my first day."
