Casualty spoilers follow.
It's double the drama on Casualty next weekend, as the show will be airing back to back episodes.
Rash continues to struggle with his dad's diagnosis in our first visit to the ED, while Robyn makes a discovery and Marcus continues to isolate Stevie.
Later on, Jacob will be taking centre stage in a life-or-death situation, while Dylan makes a risky decision which could cost him his career.
Here's a full collection of the 13 biggest moments to look out for:
1. Rash's problems intensify
Rash is left devastated next week when his dad – who has recently been diagnosed with vascular dementia – causes a serious traffic accident.
After being brought into the ED, Ashok doesn’t recognise Rash and has no concept of the enormity of the situation.
When Dylan offers Rash some time off, Rash insists he wants to stay and treats Elinor – who was involved in the crash and has suffered a spinal injury as a result.
Guilt-ridden over the accident and overwhelmed with what's happening, Rash is thrown by more bad news on his father's health. Aware he needs more support, Rash decides to find his dad a nice care home, but is blindsided to discover that Nadeem invested and lost most of Ashok’s money.
2. Stevie suffers a crisis of confidence
Faith prevents Stevie from mistakenly giving up on a patient when there’s output.
Shaken, Stevie tells Faith that the ongoing department gossip, mistakes and bad reviews are all taking its toll on her, and she's also hurt that she didn’t even get place second for the Jac Naylor award.
3. Marcus continues to isolate Stevie
Marcus quizzes Faith about Stevie's earlier blunder.
Faith defends Stevie and questions Marcus’ motives given their recent breakup, but he insists he only has concerns about her professional ability.
4. Stevie makes another mistake
Stevie and Faith treat 10 year-old Serena, who has a laceration to her neck. Stevie is provoked when the youngster's mum Astrid asks if a surgeon could ensure it won’t scar – insisting vanity should be the least of their worries right now.
On receiving Serena’s blood test results, Stevie then jump to the conclusion that Astrid has been feeding her daughter slimming pills.
Despite Faith’s warning, Stevie confronts Astrid, only for Serena to admit it was her who sourced and took the pills after one of her followers made a jibe about her weight.
5. Robyn discovers Paul's seret
Paul accidentally reveals a large cut on his arm to a horrified Robyn, admitting he sustained it while doing a job for their old school friend, Damien.
Robyn is hurt he’d lie to her, but is thrilled to learn from cleaner Trudy that Paul has also been training to be an HCA largely to impress her.
6. Faith turns against Stevie
Marcus reveals that Astrid is making a formal complaint against Stevie, and tells her that Faith is corroborating the story.
Furious, Stevie explodes at Faith once again, throwing a barrage of personal comments her way.
Devastated, Faith insists that Stevie deserved the complaint and their friendship is over.
Marcus is satisfied that he's managing to drive a wedge between Stevie and her friends as he comforts her afterwards.
7. Jacob clashes with Marcus
Jacob is angered to spot agency staff in the ED and confronts Marcus.
Marcus insists he had to take action as Jacob’s staff keep refusing extra shifts.
Jacob is furious, insisting his team are exhausted, but Marcus unsympathetically retorts that being a leader requires making tough decisions.
8. Jacob is faced with a terrifying situation
Furious following his confrontation with Marcus, Jacob heads off for a run to blow off some steam. He is shocked to discover fellow jogger – Sunil – who fell down the cliff and has been trapped for three days.
Jacob relocates Sunil’s shoulder but is unable to get signal to call for help. Aware Sunil needs urgent help, Jacob is forced to leave him, promising he’ll be back in half an hour.
9. Dylan gets a warning
Marcus warns Dylan to drop his obsession with the care home patients. He is clinical lead and needs to focus on his responsibilities.
However, when David flags his patient Brian Craugh, Dylan ignores Marcus's earlier warning in order to investigate further.
10. Dylan makes a discovery
Dylan soon realises that Brian's bruises aren’t consistent with an accidental fall, but Brian insists he doesn't want to talk about it.
Dylan’s concerns are compounded when David pulls Brian’s file and sees that he's had no admissions for twenty years, meaning his supposed clumsiness is new.
Dylan becomes convinced that Brian fits with the other care home cases, excluding a cut to the neck, and becomes suspicious of his carer, Dean.
11. Jacob makes a devastating decision
When Jacob reappears having had no luck, he is horrified to see that Sunil has tried to saw off his leg himself.
With time running out, Jacob reaches the horrifying realisation that he must finish Sunil’s work.
He picks up the pen knife and cuts off Sunil’s foot, and then takes him back to the ED.
12. Dylan loses his job
Convinced he's cracked the case, Dylan calls DCI Vadra into the ED and publicly accuses Dean of being an abuser.
Brian is forced to interrupt with the truth and accuses Dylan of outing him in public, and against his will.
Marcus later tells Dylan that Dean has made a complaint against him because of this and he's being demoted from clinical lead.
13. Paige struggles with her new responsibilities
Having promised Rash she'd support him with Ashok, Paige is forced to hide her exhaustion at work.
When she accidentally falls asleep in the staff room, Paige feels guilty about letting down one of her patients.
Teddy spots Paige’s exhaustion, and urges her to make Rash aware of the toll looking after his dad is taking on her. She vows to act on Teddy's advice but struggles to be honest with Rash when he tells her how much Ashok enjoys her company.
Casualty airs these scenes on Saturday, February 11 on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
