Next week on Casualty, Faith is forced to make some difficult decisions, while
Stevie’s problems push Paige to make a mistake.

Here's a full collection of the 11 biggest moments coming up:

1. Faith gets a shock

Faith is shocked when Iain brings Elsie Clegg (from episode 7) into the ED having collapsed at her care home.

Dylan and Faith wonder if the reason for her condition is due to an overdose.

Faith is surprised when Iain announces Elsie’s granddaughter has arrived – having not been aware she had one.

2. Iain takes the plunge with Faith

Despite her concerns over Elsie, Faith is pleased when Ian asks her out for a drink.

When Faith tells Stevie about her date, she is embarrassed by Stevie’s response and begins to wonder if it's a good idea after all.

3. Faith makes an unsettling discovery

Faith soon discovers that Elsie's care home employ different agency staff, and that her 'granddaughter' is actually Donna, her carer.

Donna reacts defensively when Faith asks who gave Elsie her medication that morning, eventually confessing her fears that she may be responsible for the double dosing.

Faith sympathises with Donna, acknowledging that the pressure of being understaffed and overworked makes mistakes like this inevitable. However, Faith insists that she still has to report it given her duty of care.

4. Marcus worries about Stevie

Marcus is concerned when Stevie wakes up in distress, having had a disturbing dream about her recent attack.

Stevie doesn’t listen to his advice to take more time off work, worrying that Paige won't be coping without her.

5. Stevie returns to work

Contrary to Stevie's concern, Paige is relishing the time without her. She tells Robyn how she's enjoying not having Stevie breathing down her neck all the time, unaware that Stevie is behind her and has heard everything.

Paige attempts to smooth things over afterwards, but Stevie berates her for ordering a patient – Mr Melton – a CT scan and demands she cancel it.

6. Faith makes a difficult decision

Elsie asks Faith not to report Donna, and is horrified to discover she already has. When Faith notices Elsie fiddling with some pills, she begins to wonder if Elsie actually overdosed herself.

Elsie eventually admits that the depth of her loneliness drove her to it, remaining Faith that she broke her promise of visiting the care home.

Faith is devastated, and ends up letting Iain down to keep Elsie company instead.

7. Stevie struggles to cope

Paige is alarmed to find an upset Stevie in the bathroom, where she is experiencing flashbacks of her attack.

Determined to put on a front, Stevie congratulates Paige for ignoring her demands to cancel the CT – which ultimately caught Mr Melton’s tumour.

Buoyed, and believing they are now friends, Paige brings Stevie a coffee, only to find she has hardened once more.

8. Paige makes a big mistake

Following another run-in with Stevie, Paige returns to her patient – desperate to prove herself.

Wanting to show she can cope without Stevie's supervision, Paige decides to sedate Chase unsupervised, against Jacob's advice.

However, Paige is horrified when she realises Chase isn’t breathing amid the procedure and rushes to fetch some medication to counter the sedative effect.

When Stevie and Dylan find Chase unattended as a result, they are furious to discover that he had been unconscious for at least a couple of minutes, while Paige was out of the room.

9. Dylan gives Paige some devastating news

Once Chase has stabilised, Dylan calls Paige into his office, where he explains that her actions must be reported to the GMC.

Paige struggles to process this, while Stevie makes a half-hearted attempt to defend her.

10. Jan's struggles continue

Jan becomes increasingly frustrated when time wasters prevent her and Sah attending to those who need their help most.

Stressed, Jan brushes off Sah's advice regarding coping mechanisms and insists that everything will be fine after a holiday with Ffion.

However, it soon becomes clear that Jan could be struggling more than she's letting on when she later attempts to read one of Sah's mindfulness books.

11. Paige lashes out at Stevie

Paige turns to Rash for support following her dressing down from Dylan. Stevie also attempts to support her by asking if she wants to go out for a drink, but the offer causes Paige to fly off the handle.

Devastated, Paige accuses Stevie of belittling her day and blames her for the mistake.

Paige insists that Stevie came back to work too soon and now her career could be over before it’s even started.
