Holby City star Camilla Arfwedson welcomes first child and reveals name

The star announced she was expecting last month.

Congratulations are in order for Holby City's Camilla Arfwedson, who has welcomed her first child with husband Jack Hawkins.

The actress, who played Zosia March on the BBC soap, shared an adorable picture of the baby boy on her Instagram, confirming his name is Auro.

"3 weeks of baby Auro," she captioned the Instagram picture.

Camilla received a host congratulations in her comments, with fellow Holby star David Ames (Dominic Copeland) saying: "So beautiful".

Niamh McGrady (Mary-Claire Carter) wrote: "Omg [heart eyes emojis]", while The Split star Fiona Button added: "Perfect [heart emoji]".

Camilla confirmed last month that she was expecting a baby boy, sharing a picture of her baby bump at the time.

"I always thought pregnancy is an incredibly private journey & have resisted sharing mine on social media but with two weeks to go til we meet our little boy I thought why not," she said.

Holby City came to an end earlier this year after 23 years on air, with the broadcaster saying at the time that it was "in order to reshape the BBC's drama slate to better reflect, represent and serve all parts of the country".
