Ryan Thomas has shared his pride over his daughter Scarlett appearing in Waterloo Road.
The rebooted BBC soap sees the Coronation Street star's brother Adam return to the role of Donte Charles, with Ryan's daughter Scarlett playing his daughter Izzy alongside Adam's real-life son Teddy as son Tommy.
Taking to his Instagram ahead of the broadcast last night (January 3), Ryan said (via The Mirror): "What a time to be alive. Tonight, BBC One, 8pm, Waterloo Road, my little brother Adam, my little nephew Teddy and eldest daughter Scarlett take over the TV screen together as a family.

"Talk about a proud moment for the Thomases!" he added. "Wow. I can't wait for you guys to see it. We watched it together as a family. It's beyond beautiful, so well shot and an incredible storyline."
It comes after Adam spoke about working with his family on the show, admitting it could be a "handful" for him.
"At first, I was so happy they were working on set with me, but I think it was, like, day two and they were having a fight on set," he said. "Teddy was crying, and I was like: 'Oh my god, what have I got myself into here?'"

Adam went on to speak about working with Scarlett, recalling: "She's been amazing and I don't think she needs any advice from me.
"I mean, she's got her dad who's been there and done it, and her mum as well. So between the three of us, we've definitely helped her a little bit."
Waterloo Road airs on Tuesday nights on BBC One. The new series is currently available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
