The Sims 4 announces first paid content of 2023

From underwear to dentures.

The Sims 4 has revealed the first paid content of 2023, with two new Kits launching this week.

Simtimates Collection Kit, featuring fun and flirty loungewear, and Bathroom Clutter Kit – which, as the name suggests, adds bathroom-themed clutter items – are releasing on the usual platforms on Thursday, January 19.

Simtimates Collection Kit includes a variety of clothing items suitable for more intimate moments.

Lace and bodysuits plus new eye-catching styles of underwear and boxers are available for Sims to wear.

The developers collaborated with MeUndies for the Kit, coming up with designs that stand out for all body types and "show off individuality and personality".

Meanwhile, Bathroom Clutter Kit follows last November's Everyday Clutter Kit, offering a range of items that can be dropped around the house to help to make the place look more lived-in.

This new Kit is targeted at Simmers who want more options for bathrooms, and that includes make-up, combs, extra drawers, wall decals, and dentures.

Whether your Sims keep their bathrooms tidy or not is entirely up to you, as the Kit is aimed at giving Simmers more options to have builds reflecting the household members living inside.

Both of these new Kits were teased in the early 2023 roadmap, which places an emphasis on family, while concept art for some of these items was shown during last October's Behind The Sims Summit stream.

That's not the only thing fans can expect over the next few months.

Improved babies look set to be part of a free update, while the next full expansion was also mentioned to be coming.

The Sims 4 is available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
