The Independent Games Festival Awards nominations for 2023 have been announced.
Tunic and Betrayal at Club Low lead the nominations with three each, including nominations in the Grand Prize category. The former also received nods in the Audio and Visual Art categories, while the latter was recognised in Design and for the Nuovo Award.
The Case of the Golden Idol, Immortality, Neon White, and Not for Broadcast are the other Grand Prize nominees.

Elsewhere, the Narrative category looks incredibly competitive. In addition to Immortality, the nominees are Butterfly Soup 2, Citizen Sleeper, I Was a Teenage Exocolonist, Norco, and South of the Circle.
Several of these IGF Award-nominated games were featured in Digital Spy's best games of 2022 list last month.
Last year's Grand Prize winner was Inscryption, which also won in Audio, Design, and Narrative.
