A sequel to the upcoming slasher film Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey is already in development.
Horror lovers have been eagerly awaiting for a gory trip down memory lane ever since the film was first announced back in May 2022.
Now, just weeks away from its February 15 release in the US, Blood and Honey's official Twitter account has announced another bloodthirsty outing to the Hundred Acre Wood.

The account shared a teaser poster for the sequel, along with the caption: "More blood. More honey. #WinnieThePooh2".
The poster also hints at some more revenge-filled slashing ahead for Pooh and co, as the tagline reads: "Friends Will Gather… To Take Revenge."
Despite being based on AA Milne's first Winnie the Pooh book, Blood and Honey takes a darker turn, following Pooh and Piglet as they go on killing rampage after Christopher Robin abandons them in the woods to go to university.

Previously explaining the impact being left in the woods all those years had on Christopher's beloved childhood friends, director Rhys Frake-Waterfield told HuffPost: "Because they've had to fend for themselves so much, they've essentially become feral.
"So they've gone back to their animal roots. They're no longer tame: they're like a vicious bear and pig who want to go around and try and find prey."
Waterfield is also reportedly working on a horror-based take on another fairytale classic, Peter Pan, titled Peter Pan: Neverland Nightmare. The premise is still unknown but if it's anything like Blood and Honey, our childhood will never be the same.
Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey will be in US cinemas on February 15, 2023. A UK release date is TBA.
