Fear the Walking Dead is coming to an end.
AMC has announced the upcoming eighth season will be the show's swansong, with a first-look clip teasing Madison's escape plan from PADRE.
The final 12 episodes will pick up in the aftermath of Morgan and Madison being hijacked in their attempts to rescue Mo from the secret government location known as PADRE.

Morgan and Madison are forced to live under PADRE's tyrannical rule, yet they do not give up hope of a better life once they find Mo. Kim Dickens will reprise her role as Madison, after a guest appearance last season.
The news comes as The Walking Dead universe boss Scott M. Gimple has confirmed that Walking Dead spinoffs for Rick and Michonne, Daryl Dixon, and Maggie and Negan will all be coming soon to fill Fear the Walking Dead's gap.

Fear the Walking Dead returns for its eighth and final season on Sunday, May 14 at 9pm ET on AMC in the US, and will air on AMC on BT TV in the UK.
