Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is the latest entry in Activision's long-running first-person shooter franchise, and it's out now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Not to be confused with the original CoD: Modern Warfare 2 that was released in 2009, the newest entry is a direct sequel to 2019's CoD: Modern Warfare reboot from developers Infinity Ward.
MW II will feature an epic campaign, trademark immersive multiplayer and co-op Special Ops modes, with new features including new gun handling, advanced AI, better gun customisation to suit different playstyles and a number of other graphical and gameplay innovations that look to elevate the franchise.

CoD: MW II released on PlayStation, Xbox and PC on October 28, 2022, and we've rounded up the best deals so you can play for the cheapest price.

You can also buy MWII from the PlayStation Store digitally. This version includes both the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game as part of the cross-gen bundle.
Buying the digital edition before October 20 will give you early access to the MWII campaign mode.
The cheapest and best way to get a PlayStation digital download code is to buy PlayStation Store wallet top-up cards, as this works out cheaper than buying direct from PSN.
Modern Warfare II is listed at £69.99 on the PlayStation Store, but if you buy two £35 top-up download codes from ShopTo for a total of £61.70, it works out much cheaper.
You can buy various PlayStation Store credit values, just in case you already have some PSN credit and don't need £35 worth. The codes will be delivered instantly so you can redeem them on your PSN account.
PSN credit is also available at CD Keys, where you can buy two £35 codes for £31.49 each, a total of £62.98 if you wanted to combine them to buy MWII on the PlayStation Store.
