Netflix unveils first look at You season 4 ahead of premiere

A touch of English class.

Netflix thriller You has released a gallery of first-look photos from season 4.

Once again starring Penn Badgley as the slippery Joe Goldberg, the forthcoming episodes will shift the action over to London, with Charlotte Ritchie (Ghosts), Lukas Gage (The White Lotus) and Ben Wiggins (A Discovery of Witches) making their debuts as Kate, Adam and Roald.

Below, you'll find a suited-and-booted Joe sizing up his next murder weapon, while Ritchie's newcomer gets dangerously close.

Throughout autumn, Ritchie has delved into her latest acting gig, and teased why she joined.

"I'm finishing the Netflix show about a serial killer, You. We've been doing series 4 and I'm part of the new cast," she told Metro. "The show became huge in lockdown but I didn't watch it. I watched the beginning of the first episode but I found him too creepy. The real guy [Badgley] is a nice guy.

"The character is reprehensible. My character is very different from what I've done before."

The Taskmaster contestant also exclusively shared with Digital Spy that a set photo containing Kate and Joe in close quarters doesn't necessarily mean there's romance afoot.

"I don't know how much I can say about whether I'm the object of his affection or not," teased Ritchie.

"They're not into each other. It's not like a sort of... that's quite a later development in their story. But she's basically extremely suspicious of him and really doesn't like him at the beginning. It is a bit like she can sort of see through him, which was great to play because he's such a horrible person. Even though Penn is the loveliest person!"

You seasons 1-3 are streaming on Netflix. Season 4 is due to premiere February 9, 2023.
