Fear the Walking Dead star lands next movie role in sci-fi thriller

Fear the Walking Dead star Alycia Debnam-Carey has landed a new role in a science-fiction thriller, one produced by fellow Fear TWD alumni Colman Domingo.

As reported by Deadline, the movie, titled It's What Inside, just wrapped after a short 18-day shoot in Portland, Oregon.

Plot details are being kept under wraps for now, but we know that it stars Brittany O'Grady (The White Lotus season 1), James Morosini (I Love My Dad, American Horror Story: Cult), Gavin Leatherwood (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Devon Terrell (Rap Sh!t), Nina Bloomgarden (The Resort), Madison Davenport (From Dusk till Dawn: The Series), David W Thompson (Gotham) and Reina Hardesty (What Comes Around).

Dolmingo's production company Edith Productions said in a press release: "We are thrilled to usher in an extraordinary auteur filmmaker such as Greg [Jardin]. We developed this with thrilling creative partners such as [fellow producers] Kate Andrews and William Rosenfeld and we’re excited to share the mind of Greg Jardin with the world."

But, of course, it isn't the end of the franchise by any means.

There's spin-offs galore coming focusing on fan favourite characters like Norman Reedus' Daryl and Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Negan, while the anthology show Tales of the Walking Dead and, of course, Fear the Walking Dead are still ongoing.

In fact, when Fear returns next time, it will be for its eighth season.

With its more flexible format in terms of time and location, could it end up lasting even longer than the parent show?
