Fear The Walking Dead season 7 episode 12 spoilers follow.

The latest episode of Fear The Walking Dead has seen the first big deaths of the season, as the war against villain Strand rages.

Aired this week, 'Sonny Boy' sees Alicia Clark (Alycia Debnam-Carey) and Morgan Jones (Lennie James) get ready to take Strand's (Colman Domingo) Tower by force.

Meanwhile, Morgan and Grace's (Karen David) daughter Mo goes missing, with John Dorie Sr (Keith Carradine) and Howard (Omid Abtahi) trying to find her to have their way with Strand.

It is later revealed that John's daughter-in-law June (Jenna Elfman) had taken the baby to reunite her with Morgan before the attack on the Tower.

As for John, he admits to suffering from radiation sickness after rescuing Charlie (Alexa Nisenson) and having planted a radio on Howard so that Strand would suspect him as the mole.

After Strand forces John to push Howard off the roof so to spare June and Grace, the former policeman made the ultimate sacrifice to reunite baby Mo with Morgan, giving himself to the walkers.

"It's so hard to watch this episode and say goodbye to Keith Carradine. He is this character," co-showrunner Ian Goldberg said on AMC+'s Fear the Walking Dead: Episode Insider.

"He's got so much gravitas and strength. He just brings something that no one else could have brought to this role. We were such big fans of his from his very long and impressive body of work, bringing him into the show.

"And what we always like to say is that when characters die or when we say goodbye to characters, we want it to hurt. We want it to be impactful because that means that you cared."

Fear the Walking Dead season 7B airs on Sundays on AMC in the US. In the UK, episodes premiere simultaneously with the US broadcast on Mondays at 2am on AMC, exclusively to BT TV customers, with a repeat on Mondays at 9pm.
