The Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco expecting her first child with partner Tom Pelphrey

The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco has announced that she is expecting her first baby.

The actress and her partner Tom Pelphrey shared the happy news that a baby was on the way yesterday (October 11), also confirming that they're expecting a baby girl.

Posting a series of photos, including polaroids and a pregnancy test, Kaley wrote on Instagram: "Baby girl Pelphrey coming 2023 beyond blessed and over the moon… I [heart] you @tommypelphrey !!!".

Tom also shared the news on his page, writing: "And then it was even MORE BETTER.. Love you more than ever @kaleycuoco".

The two have received a host of congratulations in the comments, with Queer Eye's Jonathan Van Ness writing: "Ommmmggggg!!!".

Kaley's Flight Attendant co-star Sharon Stone added: "Well CONGRATULATIONS," while Supergirl's Odette Annable said: "Kaley and @tommypelphrey!!!!! I am so beyond thrilled for you guys!!!!! Beautiful beautiful".

The Flight Attendant and Ozark stars confirmed their romance earlier this year, with Cuoco paying tribute to her boyfriend on his birthday in July.

"To the incredible man that saved me in all the ways..happy birthday, baby!" she said at the time. "To know you, is to truly adore you … the world lit up the day you were born. I love you!!"

Kaley was previously married to Karl Cook, with the couple confirming their separation last September.

"Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realized that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions," they said in a joint statement.

"We have both shared so much of our journey publicly so while we would prefer to keep this aspect of our personal life private, we wanted to be forthcoming in our truth together. There is no anger or animosity, quite the contrary."
