The Sims 4 is having a massive Black Friday sale right now, for those looking to add to their collection on PC or Mac.
Until Wednesday, December 7, nearly all Expansion Packs are half-price on the Origin store, meaning that instead of the usual price of £34.99, players can buy them for £17.49. The exception is High School Years, which is £26.24 (25% off).
Elsewhere, most Game Packs have dropped from £17.99 to £12.59 (30% off) – the exception being Werewolves, which is £14.39 (20% off) – and Stuff Packs have dropped from £8.99 to £6.29 (30% off).
If you've come to this page outside of any sales periods, CDKeys usually sells Expansion, Game, and Stuff Packs digitally at a significant discount. You can check out what the site's offering below:
With 12 Expansion Packs and 12 Game Packs, there's no shortage of choice and you may be wondering which ones to consider. The truth is, different packs have different themes and suit different playstyles – so you can't really go wrong as long as you keep that in mind.
For example, players who lean towards family gameplay should look at Parenthood to add further depth to the parenting experience or High School Years for a fuller experience when playing with teen Sims.
Pet lovers will want to consider Cats & Dogs, while Vampires, Werewolves, and Realm of Magic may appeal to those into the supernatural. City Living introduces a metropolitan world with apartments to rent.
Our favourite pack is probably Seasons, which adds weather, a calendar, and seasonal events, bringing a greater and more satisfying sense of time progression to the game.
As for Stuff Packs, Laundry Day, Tiny Living, Nifty Knitting, and Paranormal are all solid options, provided the themes appeal to you. There are 18 Stuff Packs to browse.
The game has also seen a total of 17 Kits released so far, though none of them are on sale – so they remain at the price of £4.99. The latest Kits, released earlier this month, are the Pastel Pop and Everyday Clutter Kits.
Even though The Sims 5 has been officially announced with the working title of Project Rene, we still have plenty more content for The Sims 4 coming in the near future including improved babies and two new expansions.
The Sims 4 is available on PC, Mac, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
