The new year is right around the corner which means for many of you it might be time for a new smartphone instead of an ambitious resolution you almost certainly won't keep. A slightly more manageable commitment for 2022 is an affordable phone contract that won't break your bank, and, fortunately for you, Sky's Christmas sales might help you achieve that goal.
You can save big on the iPhone 14 and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G with Sky Mobile this season, or nab yourself some free extra data on a SIM-only plan. Why pick Sky Mobile for your new phone contract? A lot of people are scared of making the switch over to a new network in fear of being tied up in complicated transfers or losing their number, but changing is a lot easier now. And if you do make the jump over to Sky, you can roll over any unused data to the next month and you get plenty of choice in how much data you get or how much you pay each month.
Of course, there are plenty of other decent networks out there, and the likes of EE, Tesco Mobile, Three and Vodafone also give you some great prices if you're still researching.

Some of you are probably only here for the TV stuff, and there's plenty of that too, with deals to be had on both Sky's new-age Sky Stream and Sky Glass services, as well as the old-fashioned dish-based Sky Q.
You can combine your Sky Glass, Sky Stream or Sky Q package with one of Sky's broadband packages if you like, but there are also broadband-only savings to ponder. With regards to Christmas delivery, Sky is advising that customers check remaining slots at the checkout for Sky Glass and Sky Q/Broadband, while you have until 9pm on December 23 for Sky Stream.

The same saving can also be made on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G, which also knocks £12 off a 60GB data plan, bringing the monthly total to £52 for the 128GB handset on a 24-month contract.
If you want to go SIM-only, Sky Mobile is embracing the spirit of Christmas by giving away free data on several of its plans. Purchase the 25GB data plan for £16 a month and Sky will double it, bringing the total to 50GB at no extra cost. If you don’t need that much, the 12GB plan becomes 20GB for £12 a month. All Sky Mobile plans entitle you to unlimited calls and texts, and any unused data rolls over and can be used in subsequent months when needed for up to three years.
Sky Christmas 2022 TV deals
It’s no surprise that Sky is going big on its dishless vision of the future this Christmas, with a number of deals to be had on its newest TV service, Sky Stream. The most basic Sky Stream package, which includes Sky TV and a Netflix subscription, is down to £23 (usually £26) a month for 18 months. From here, you can bolt on additional services and access to UHD content. You can save yourself £5 a month if you choose to roll Sky Sports into your package, which is down to £20 a month from £25 on the 18-month contract.
If you’d rather not commit yourself, Sky also offers a 31-day rolling contract, which is currently £26 a month for 18 months, down from £29. A setup fee of £20 applies to the 18-month contract, while you’ll pay £39.95 for the 31-day rolling package. The Sky Stream offers last until December 29, 2022.
Sky Stream allows Sky customers who are happy with the TV they already own to ditch the dish, but if you’d rather opt for Sky’s all-in-one package, there are also Christmas deals on Sky Glass. Matching the Black Friday pricing, you can get the entry-level Sky Glass package from £36 a month on an 18-month contract, with a £10 upfront fee. This bundle includes a 43” Sky Glass 4K TV set, Sky TV and a basic Netflix subscription. Be aware that while a Sky TV contract is 18 months, the Sky Glass set is paid for over 48 months on an interest-free loan, but you’ll be able to make larger payments if you wish to.
If you don’t want to rely on Wi-Fi for your telly-watching, Sky Q is very much still an option, and you can get it from £26 a month (down from £33) for 18 months, with a £20 setup fee, during Sky’s Christmas sale. There are big savings to be had on bolt-on services too, with Sky Sports down to £20 a month from £32, and Sky Cinema down to £9 a month from £19. You can add any additional services you want as you build your package online.
