Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special spoilers follow.
Marvel fans get ready for another emotional rollercoaster as Yondu is set to make a reappearance in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special.
As Guardians of the Galaxy fans will already know, Michael Rooker's character sacrificed himself in the second film in order to save his adoptive son Peter Quill AKA Star-Lord. However, Rooker's inclusion in the special's cast list announcement has confirmed he'll be back once more and fans are wondering exactly how he'll be returning (via Collider).
While it's not yet known exactly how the franchise is planning to bring Yondu back it's unlikely that the character will be resurrected, with director James Gunn previously stating that Yondu will remain dead while he's involved with the franchise.
