Margot Robbie has said she's been "pushing" for a Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy romance.
Harley and Ivy strike up a romance in both the comics and the Harley Quinn animated series, so when asked by Comicbook.com if she'd like to see her version of the anarchic supervillain (should she ever return to the role, that is) in a relationship with Ivy, Robbie revealed that she's game — and has been for years
"I have been pushing for that for years. I cannot tell you how hard I've been pushing for that. I want it too," she shared.

When asked if she had any actors in mind to play the role of Ivy, she added: "Honestly, when I pictured, I always picture like Poison Ivy in the comics. I don't really actually picture an actress doing it, but I agree, that would be so good."
While it's still unclear whether Robbie will ever reprise her role as Harley, it's been confirmed that Lady Gaga will be taking on the role in the upcoming Joker sequel, Joker: Folie à deux.
Previously opening up about the casting choice and seeing someone else play the character, Robbie told MTV News: "It makes me so happy, because I said from the beginning all I want is for Harley Quinn to be one of those characters that... the way like Macbeth or Batman always gets passed from great actor to great actor, and it's kind of like someone gets to do their Batman or someone gets to do their Macbeth, you know?"

The actress added: "It's such an honour to have built a foundation strong enough that Harley can now be one of those characters that other actors get to have a go at playing, and I think she'll do something incredible with it."
Joker: Folie à Deux is scheduled for a cinema release date of October 4, 2024.
