Here's your weekly roundup of comics news, from a Marv Wolfman-Cyborg reunion to the fully revealed Civil War II divide:
(Warning: contains spoilers for Extraordinary X-Men #8)
Civil War 2 lines up its two sides
After a series of many, many teasers, Marvel Comics has revealed exactly who will be standing behind Iron Man and Capt ain Marvel when the Civil War comes back around.
In the red Iron Man corner, those who want to "protect the future" are Deadpool, The Hulk, Luke Cage, Miss America, Daredevil, Black Widow, Captain America (Sam Wilson), Hercules, Black Panther, Thor and Star-Lord.
And in the blue for Captain Marvel and 'changing the future' are Spectrum, Winter Soldier, Blue Marvel, Medusa, Vision, Spider-Man, She-Hulk, Ant-Man, Hawkeye, Steve Rogers and War Machine.
It really does look like Tony and Steve have a chronic inability to get along.
Writer Brian Michael Bendis and artists David Marquez and Justin Ponsor will kick off Civil War 2 in May on Free Comic Book Day.
Marvel reveals its latest Horsemen of Apocalypse
The X-Men line has kicked off its new 'Apocalypse Wars' event by revealing the latest incarnation of the villain's four horsemen (and just in time for X-Men: Apocalypse).
When some teammates are sent into the future in Extraordinary X-Men #8, they discover that Colossus, Deadpool, Moonknight and Venom have become En Sabah Nur's servants.
That was the last page, so expect more to unfold when the story continues in Extraordinary X-Men and Uncanny X-Men in April.
Halo comes back to comics
Dark Horse Comics has announced the return of its Halo series.
New anthology Halo: Tales from Slipspace will feature work from Simon Roy, Jonathan Wayshak, Eric Nguyen, Alex Irvine, Kody Chamberlain, Dave Crosland, John Jackson Miller, Jonathan Goff, Duffy Boudreau and 343 Industries' Frank O'Connor and Tyler Jeffers.
Unfortunately, you're going to have to wait until October 12 for that to arrive.
This is the Supreme Court nominee for us
President Obama announced Merrick Garland as his candidate for the Supreme Court, and though we don't usually like to get political, he sounds like a guy after our hearts.
"He put himself through Harvard Law School by working as a tutor, by stocking shoes in a shoe store, and in what is always a painful moment for any young man, by selling his comic book collection," Obama said during a Rose Garden ceremony announcing Garland's nomination. "It's tough. Been there."
Could this be it? Are the geeks finally inheriting the Earth?
We hope Garland has had a chance to build up his collection again since.
Spider-Man comes to Civil War 2
More Civil War 2 updates! And didn't we tell you the X-Men tie-in miniseries was only the beginning? Now Spider-Man has been confirmed to be getting his own four-issue story too.
Writer Christos Gage and artist Travel Foreman will be working on Civil War II: Amazing Spider-Man, which sees Spidey try to advise the precognitive new Inhuman that is at the centre of the story (via CBR).
As noted above, Spider-Man will be on Team Captain Marvel. He should probably remember how badly the first Civil War went for him.
The first issue will arrive in June.
