Game of Thrones and The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal has landed his next movie role in Freaky Tales.
Freaky Tales is the new movie from Captain Marvel directors Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden, who have gathered together an all-star cast including Rogue One's Ben Mendelsohn, Avatar: The Way of Water's Jack Champion and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever actor Dominique Thorne.
The movie is set in Oakland, USA, in 1987 and is an original film inspired by Fleck's childhood growing up in the area. Specifically, the film will sow together four different stories featuring different characters in various historical events, some of which will be real and some of which will be fictional.

It is unclear what role Pascal or any of the other cast members will take on as of yet, but this is one of a number of exciting projects coming up for Pascal, who played Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones. That includes HBO's The Last of Us, which pairs Pascal with fellow Game of Thrones alum Bella Ramsey.
Pascal also stars as the titular character in the Star Wars Disney+ series The Mandalorian, which is gearing up for a season three release next year. Earlier this year, Pascal spoke about the possibility of a movie spin-off based off of that film.

"Don't you think it’s inevitable? I truly have no idea but that would be a dream come true," Pascal said. "Not that any more dreams could possibly come true. Maybe I've had my fill."
"I love going to the movies. Going back and just being able to be with an audience again is one of the most important things to me. If that happens with The Mandalorian, all I can say is... please!"
The Mandalorian seasons 1-2 are streaming now on Disney+. Season 3 is in production. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and the entire Skywalker Saga are available on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K now, as well as on Disney+.
