One of PlayStation's biggest titles has received a complete overhaul with the release of The Last of Us Part I on PS5, which drops on consoles on September 2, 2022.
Remade to take advantage of next-gen hardware, this is set to be the definitive way to play the classic action-adventure game.

The cheapest price at time of writing is at ShopTo, where the game is being sold for £59.85, while The Game Collection have it listed for £59.95, and Base at £60.85.
Amazon is selling The Last of Us remake for £64.99 alongside Very, with GAME at £69.99 and AO listing it for £70.
Pre-ordering the game will include in-game items Bonus Supplements and Bonus Weapon Parts.
Co-President Neil Druckman of developers Naughty Dog states that the gameplay and presentation enhancements will bring the remake closer to their original vision, with The Last of US Part I having render options of 4K at targeted 30 FPS or dynamic 4K at targeted 60 FPS.
Rebuilt from the ground up, the remake has seen improvements to character models, visual fidelity, textures, denser physics that show environmental bullet damage, better animations and cinematic transitions, as well as better AI on enemies and NPCs.
The Last of US Part I will also include some new modes, including a permadeath mode and a speedrun-focused mode, as well as the inclusion of original DLC Left Behind.
The game will also include new costumes you can unlock for Joel and Ellie as well as over 60 accessibility options that include a new audio description mode that will let you experience the cinematic story any way you want.
The Last of Us Part I releases on PS5 on September 2.
