Sex and the City revival And Just Like That... is in the scripting stage of season 2.
Renewed back in March after an initial 10 episodes, where Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis reprised their beloved SATC pals, this divisive sequel series catches up with Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York Goldenblatt in their mid-50s.
Teasing the second season's development on Instagram yesterday (September 21), Parker posted the opening script's cover page.

Browsing the comments section, it's clear that many fans are waiting for the show's return with bated breath.
"And just like that…. I got real excited!!!! [two heart emojis]" and "YESSSSSS CANNOT WAIT" said two excited replies, while someone else added: "I really hope they do better with the second season. I was so excited for the first and I couldn't even finish it."
"Praise the lord" and "@sarahjessicaparker you all can make this show until the end of time and I will be by your side watching!" shared another pair of And Just Like That... fans.

When the series was renewed by HBO, here's what showrunner Michael Patrick King had to say: "I am delighted and excited to tell more stories about these vibrant, bold characters — played by these powerful, amazing actors.
"The fact is, we're all thrilled. And Just Like That our Sex life is back."
And Just Like That, the sequel to Sex and the City, airs on HBO Max in the US and Sky Atlantic and NOW in the UK.
