Sarah Jessica Parker has revealed that John Corbett apologised to her about saying that he would appear in And Just Like That.
The actor appeared as Aidan Shaw on the original Sex and the City series, and got many fans excited last year after suggesting that he would return for the new reboot.
Of course, we all know that didn't turn out to be the case, and the Carrie Bradshaw actress has admitted her co-star reached out to her to say sorry for his porky pie.

"It was fun for him to say that," she recalled to Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
"He actually reached out very kindly, because he's nothing if not a gentleman, and apologised for doing that as a joke. And then I was like, 'No, no, no, I mean, it's a free country, first of all, and second of all, I thought it was kind of delightful and fun.'"
However, could Aidan return in a possible second season of And Just Like That? Well, Parker has certainly suggested it is not out of the question.
"Having said that, I think he would be… well I'm not gonna… I mean, yes, all of it is possible," the star added. "All of it is possible."

It comes after writer Julie Rottenberg recently said that a return for Corbett was "never in the works" for And Just Like That, despite the actor's claims.
"That was one of these stories that came out, and HBO never confirmed it," she told TVLine. "I think their policy was they couldn't keep confirming or denying every random theory that was thrown out. But no, that was never in the plan.
"We love John, and we love Aidan. It just wasn't in the script."
And Just Like That, the sequel to Sex and the City, airs on HBO Max in the US and Sky Atlantic and NOW in the UK.
