Emily in Paris creator Darren Star has called for former Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall to join his show.
The pair know each other well from their time on the latter show, which saw Cattrall play Samantha Jones in the original iteration of the series and two feature films.
After she attended the premiere for the third season of Emily in Paris, rumours circulated that she could make an appearance on the Netflix show, and Star didn’t exactly shut them down when talking to People at the New York premiere for the latest season.

“For me, it's never about stunt casting per se," he said. "It's about finding the right role for the right person. And I would love to work with Kim and it's just about finding a role that's worthy of Kim. If it works out for this, it'll be fun. So let's see what happens.”
Cattrall would have the time to do it, given she didn’t return for the Sex and the City revival series, And Just Like That….
The third season of Emily in Paris, which stars Lily Collins in the lead role, will premiere on December 21, and Star recently said that the newest batch of episodes would see Emily and co in new locations outside of the French capital.
“We're always thinking about how we can show Paris,” he told Variety. “It's not hard to make Paris look amazing, because it is, from wherever you look or wherever you point the camera. We will always want the story to drive locations. but we have some really beautiful locations lined up for season three in France, not just in Paris.”
Emily in Paris seasons 1-2 are streaming on Netflix, and season 3 will premiere on December 21.
