Real Housewives of Dubai drama as "rudest wedding guest ever" turns up in bridal look

"That has to be the biggest slap in the face any guest can do to a bride."

The latest episode of Bravo's Real Housewives of Dubai featured some serious drama as Caroline Stanbury prepared for her wedding to Sergio Carrallo.

Due to COVID, the couple haven't had the easiest journey down the aisle but on Wednesday's episode (July 20), they hit one more bump before making it to the altar.

In the episode, Caroline and Sergio held their engagement party in the desert, where all their guests were required to wear white.

However, one guest, Caroline's frenemy Chanel Ayan, made a major error while choosing her party attire – picking a dress that, according to Caroline, made her look like the bride.

Seeing Chanel's dress as she pulled up to the party, Caroline said: "Is someone in a f**king wedding dress? Chanel is in a wedding gown."

Sergio then said: "Are you f**king kidding me right now?"

"That has to be the biggest slap in the face any guest can do to a bride," Caroline then said in her confessional.

"Anybody else with any ounce of etiquette would understand you don't go to a woman's wedding in a wedding dress."

After seeing Caroline's dress when she arrived at the party, Chanel said: "Oh my God, why do I have a train? She has a train."

Caroline then approached Chanel and asked: "Did you come as me?" While Chanel tried to smooth things over by telling Caroline "you look gorgeous," the bride was having none of it and added: "Possibly the rudest wedding guest ever."

Caroline added in her confessional: "The lace, the train, the veil and the blond wig – I look less bridal than her!"

However, it is worth noting that Chanel wasn't actually wearing a veil, it was just the blonde hair that Caroline mistook for a veil in the distance.

Defending her outfit choice, Chanel said in her confessional: "First of all, Caroline, I’m a Black gorgeous woman. We do not look alike whatsoever, and I wore couture from Amato.

"She definitely wore Shein. You cannot compare or compete."
