"Where did the time go?"

Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly has shared a rare photo of her daughter Phoebe in celebration of her 18th birthday.

The TV presenter posted some recent pictures of Phoebe to her Instagram, alongside her as a baby being cradled by her mother and father Vernon Kay.

"We are so proud of you and can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with you. Love you to the moon & back."

"Happy happy happy birthday Phoebe," Tess' Strictly co-host Claudia Winkleman commented, while former Big Brother winner Brian Dowling, who hosted SM:TV Live with Tess in the early 2000s, wrote: "Happy birthday BEAUTIFUL Phoebe."

Strictly stars including Dianne Buswell and Amy Dowden, and presenters Gabby Logan and Kate Thornton also sent their birthday well wishes in the comments.

We're well into the latest series of Strictly at this point, with three celebrities having being sent home already. This Saturday's (October 22) episode will be a special one, as it celebrates 100 years of the BBC's first ever broadcast. Fittingly, all of the songs will be TV show themes or songs related to some of the Beeb's most famous programmes.

Tess recently spoke about how Strictly has managed to evolve and stay fresh over its 18 years on air, stating: "We never stop growing and pushing ourselves. Last year, we had our all-male partnership [John Whaite and Johannes Radebe] dancing in the final and it was absolutely wonderful.

"I think it really showed how important it is to see representation on our screens."

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One, while spin-off show Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows also stream on BBC iPlayer.
