Strictly Come Dancing and Hollyoaks star Gemma Atkinson has responded to reports that she and Gorka Márquez have 'postponed' their wedding.
Gemma, who started dating Strictly pro Gorka in 2018, set the record straight earlier this week, after a number of news outlets suggested that the couple have had to rethink their wedding date.
On her Instagram Stories, Gemma took the reports in her stride, writing alongside laughing emojis: "Woke up to the news that we've been 'forced to postpone our wedding', when did we even book it?"
Gorka shared Gemma's story on his own page, confirming that they have yet to make any formal plans for the big day.

"Gorka is literally on tour all of this year," Gemma said in the interview that sparked the rumours. "We've only got four days off together."
Explaining their hectic schedule, she added: "He's got the two Strictly tours back-to-back, and then he'll be going on Strictly in the autumn. We don't even have a minute to sit down and begin making plans!"
This isn't the first time Gemma and Gorka have opened up about their wedding plans – back in December, Gemma admitted that they had considered skipping a big ceremony.

"We've done zero planning with all the COVID stuff," she revealed. "We've twice almost gone into the registry office and just done it but I don't think our families would be very happy. They want a good party!"
And we want a Strictly reunion!
Speaking of Strictly Come Dancing, Gorka will be back on the dancefloor when the series returns later this year – but not everyone will join him.
Both Oti Mabuse and Aljaž Škorjanec have recently confirmed they will not be returning for the 2022 series. Mabuse described her seven years on the show as "unforgettable", while Škorjanec said "a dream became a reality" when he initially joined in 2013.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One.
