Death in Paradise lead Ralf Little has recently revealed there's at least one thing he doesn't love about turning into DI Neville Parker.
The actor has been playing the detective since series 9 of BBC's beloved crime show, but has admitted not enjoying having to shave for the role.
In an Instagram video captioned "The things I do to become DI Neville Parker," Little appears with a full beard as he walks to the makeup trailer to shave.

"I have to get rid of this," he says pointing at his facial hair, adding: "I just hate being clean-shaven but here we go."
The clip continues with Little, electric shaver in hand, trying different styles — "I think we got a Neville's new look, guys!" — until he gets rid of his black beard completely.
"There it is. Six months of my life. Gutting," he jokes.

Little has recently reprised the role of Parker in the 12th series of Death in Paradise, thus becoming the longest-serving detective on the show.
"I think it's really, really fulfilling and flattering to have been able to do it for as long as I have," he told Hello! Magazine about his four-season stint.
The actor also starred in two Christmas specials, including one aired this past festive season. Aired on Boxing Day, the latest special introduced tourist (and the DI's new crush) Sophie Chambers, played by Chelsea Edge.
Is romance finally on the cards for our Saint Marie detective? From the first two episodes of the new instalment, it certainly looks like it.
Death in Paradise series 12 airs on Friday nights on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer. A spin-off, Beyond Paradise, is in production.
