Channel 4 has shared the first trailer of provocative apocalyptic comedy Everyone Else Burns exclusively with Digital Spy.
Coming to our screens in January 2023, the six-part series stars The Inbetweeners and Friday Night Dinner star Simon Bird and Death in Paradise's Kate O'Flynn as the heads of a very Christian family in Manchester.
Devoted to a puritanical sect, David Lewis (Bird) aspires to ascend the ranks of this religious hierarchy and become an elder, while his wife Fiona (O'Flynn) supports him.

Meanwhile, their two children, 17-year-old Rachel and 12-year-old Aaron juggle growing pains and their parents' seemingly unwavering faith. Will this purity at all costs be enough to earn salvation?
"Jax Media have made some of the most iconic comedy of recent years and we are so delighted to be working with them, Universal International Studios, Oli [Taylor, co-writer] and Dillon [Mapletoft, co-writer] on a project they are so passionate about," Channel 4's commissioning editor Laura Riseam said in a statement when the series was announced last May.
"We can't wait for audiences to enter the pressure cooker of life with the Lewis family as they righteously try and defend the ideology and logic of a life of purity with the vices of the modern world encroaching fast. It's a glorious comedy trap; contemporary, relevant and very funny."
