The popstar and The Masked Singer UK judge Rita Ora has confirmed that she has married Marvel director and Our Flag Means Death actor Taika Waititi.
Rita released her new single 'You Only Love Me' this week, alongside a video that features her in a wedding dress. Appearing on Heart Breakfast today (January 27), she acknowledged that the video would lead to questions about whether she had tied the knot or not, so she decided to confirm the speculation.
"Yes, yes. Everything happens for a reason, people," she said (at 1 hour 40 minutes into the show). "I am officially off the market.
"I knew that, putting out my new single, that the questions were gonna come and I thought I was just gonna put it in my music, and that's the first time I've done that. Saves all the interviews.

"When all the rumours sort of came out, 'is she, isn't she?' I wanted to play on it. [The music video] is my version of a wedding that didn't go to plan. That's not to say that is actually what happened.
"But I did want to play on the fact that I did choose to keep it more private, to myself a bit more. But this [video] is what I'm giving to the public."
Explaining what went down on her August wedding day, the singer said it was actually quite a low-key affair. "It was perfect. It was exactly, exactly how I wanted it," she recalled. "It was nice and perfect, completely how I wanted it. Just to myself. Nice and sweet.
"Sorry it's not that interesting [but] one day we'll throw a big party and I'll figure out a time to throw a big, big party."

She also stated that she has thought long and hard about whether to take the surname Waititi, but said that she hasn't made a final decision yet as she "worked very hard for this Ora name".
Rita described her entire upcoming third album as her "love story", so as more songs release and she does more interviews, expect to hear a lot more about her relationship with the New Zealand filmmaker.
