"Pray for me!"

Strictly Come Dancing's star-studded line-up for 2022's series is beginning to fill up as another famous face has been confirmed for the show.

Kaye Adams will be swapping her presenting duties for dancing shoes this autumn when the hit BBC dance competition returns for its twentieth series.

The star is best known for hosting Loose Women and announced the news alongside her fellow panellists on Friday's (August 5) episode of the ITV daytime show.

Sharing her excitement to take part in the upcoming series of Strictly, Adams revealed the competition will be a celebration of her reaching a milestone.

The presenter explained: "I said I wanted to make the last year of my fifties memorable and I can't think of a better way of doing it than showing the world my two left feet. Pray for me!"

As well as being famed for her role on Loose Women, Adams also hosts the morning show on BBC Radio Scotland. Throughout her career Adams has worked for varying broadcasters including STV, BBC, ITV and Channel 5. She also this year launched her own podcast entitled How To Be 60 with Kaye Adams.

However, Adams won't be the first Loose Women star to throw some shapes on the Strictly dance floor as Judi Love and Ruth Langsford both previously took part in the competition.
