Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral was watched by around 37.5 million viewers in the UK on Monday.
Her Majesty passed away at the age of 96 on September 8. A period of national mourning then began, before her state funeral on September 19.
More than 50 UK channels broadcast the service, as the nation paused to pay a final farewell to the Queen.

Ahead of the ceremony, around 27 million viewers tuned in for the procession, where 18 million watched on BBC One, 4.5 million on ITV, 1.7 million on BBC Two and 1.5 million combined on BBC News and Sky News.
According to Deadline, around 4 billion people across the world tuned in to say goodbye to Her Majesty.
In comparison, Princess Diana's funeral in 1997 had more than 32 million UK viewers and almost 28 million people tuned in to watch Boris Johnson's statement in May 2020, when he set out a plan for the first lockdown.
Meanwhile, the London 2012 Olympic opening and closing ceremonies each attracted almost 25 million UK viewers.

The news that the Queen died at her Balmoral estate followed an announcement from the Palace which confirmed that the late monarch was under medical supervision after doctors became concerned for her health.
Senior members of the royal family and royal household then made their way to Balmoral on the afternoon of September 8 to be with the Queen.
King Charles III paid a moving tribute to his late mother, which read: "The death of my beloved Mother, Her Majesty The Queen, is a moment of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family. We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished sovereign and a much-loved mother."
