Sex Education is gearing up to start filming season four this autumn and we've already had a few confirmations about who will or won't be back.
The likes of Tanya Reynolds and Rakhee Thakrar have said they won't be returning, while Ncuti Gatwa will be back despite his fancy new gig as the Doctor. But what about James Purefoy, who missed out on season three?
Talking to Digital Spy for the release of Fisherman's Friends: One and All, Purefoy revealed that he has "no idea" whether Remi Milburn will return in the new season, but gave a promising answer all the same.
"I was shooting Pennyworth for HBO Max when they were shooting season 3. Whether that stopped them from having me in, I have no idea. It's a cracking show, I love Sex Education," he enthused.
"I think if you're a teacher and you're having to talk about sex education, really just put this on and kids would get it. It's done with an enormous amount of tenderness and kindness and humour and thought and love, and I couldn't be prouder for being in that show.
"I think it's a really brilliant piece of work. If they wanted me back, I'd be there in a heartbeat.
"One of the things that [creator] Laurie [Nunn] does among lots of brilliant things that she does is the way she [deals with] characters who seem to be incredibly odious in one way or difficult.
"Remi, he's such a dick in so many ways, and yet he kind of pulls it back at the end of his current story. You really get a sense of how lonely and miserable that man is underneath all the bravado."
It would certainly make sense for Remi to return in season four as the third season ended with a mystery about the father of Jean's baby. We saw her have a horrified reaction to the results of the DNA test, so it could well be Remi and not Jakob.
Sounds like Remi's story isn't wrapped up just yet...
Sex Education seasons 1-3 are available to watch on Netflix, while Fisherman's Friends: One and All is released in UK cinemas on August 19.
