The Graham Norton Show announces guests for New Year's Eve special

And you won't be disappointed.

Graham Norton has announced who’ll be joining him on the New Year’s special of his BAFTA-award-winning talk show.

The Graham Norton Show features the biggest celebrities and the brightest conversation on television — and you’ll want to make sure you tune in for what promises to be a great end to 2022.

The Hogmanay sofa is set to welcome Oscar-winning Olivia Colman, known for The Favourite and The Crown (and, of course, being a national icon), alongside BAFTA Rising Star Michael Ward of Top Boy. The accomplished duo are also co-starring in Sam Mendes’ powerful romantic drama Empire of Light, expected for UK release in 2023.

Bringing guaranteed comedy will be Hugh Laurie, who you’ll recognise from Fry and Laurie and House, with further laughs to come from actor and award-winning stand-up comedian Romesh Ranganathan.

And, celebrating one of England’s biggest triumphs of the year, footballer Leah Williamson (who captained the Lionesses to victory in the Euros) will take an evening away from the pitch to chat with Norton and the gang.

But that's not all! Musical theatre fans will be excited to see the stars of Cabaret, Callum Scott Howells and Madeline Brewer, who will perform ‘Willkommen’ and ‘Don’t Tell Mama’ from the hit West End revival.

The duo are no strangers to being on screen either, with Howells having risen to fame in hit show It’s a Sin and Brewer featuring as Janine in The Handmaid’s Tale. Let's hope Norton gives her an easier time than Aunt Lydia did!
