Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two confirms hosts

"We can't wait to start."

Former Strictly Come Dancing professional Janette Manrara and Celebrity Gogglebox's Rylan Clarke-Neal are both confirmed to return as co-hosts of the series' companion show It Takes Two.

The duo will be back every weeknight from Monday, September 26 to discuss all things Strictly, from the backstage gossip and rehearsal room drama, to regular segments that include interviews with the contestants and judges.

"I'm so excited to be back at Strictly – It Takes Two for my fourth year," Rylan shared. "I absolutely love being part of the show.

"I'm so thrilled that my television wife Janette is joining me for the ride and we can't wait to bring you all the backstage gossip from this year's Strictly extravaganza. We can't wait to start."

Janette added: "I am so thrilled to be back hosting It Takes Two alongside the amazing Rylan! I'm very excited to bring the audience more great conversations with our couples, a lot of fun weeknight television entertainment and, of course, to celebrate my favourite show on TV, Strictly!"

This will be Janette's second year in the position after it was revealed last June that she would be retiring from active competition in Strictly to replace Zoe Ball in breaking down all of the weekly performances on It Takes Two.

"One of my favourite parts of doing Strictly has always been to sit down on that couch and just chat away, it's the most fun," the dancer shared when announcing the news of her new role last year.

"I remember meeting Zoe, gosh that was eight years ago now when I did the first It Takes Two sit-down. I was] thinking, 'This is the coolest job ever. You get to sit down, talk about dancing, make people feel good and celebrate their successes on the show'.

"I did say, 'One day I would love to do that', and it's here, here we are!"

Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One.
