Strictly Come Dancing star Tyler West has given fans a sneak peek into his pre-show ritual with dance partner Dianne Buswell.

Tyler posted a montage of short clips of him and Dianne doing a Wim Hof-inspired pre-show dance chant that has become the couple's weekly ritual.

"'What does it feel like when you go out there?' Indescribable," the star wrote in the Instagram caption.

"This is our pre-show Wim Hof ritual (I mean I do freestyle a bit 🤣) and now time to do it at the Blackpool Tower ballroom.

"From being the shyest kid, struggles with anxiety, to what I do today. It’s moments like this I would of never imagined and ‘grateful’ doesn’t come close.

"Thank you again 🙏🏽 Also my partner is the greatest."

Tyler and Dianne landed in the bottom two in last week's show but were saved when Tony Adams withdrew from the competition due to injury. That means the couple has made it through Strictly's famous Blackpool Week.

The pair will be hoping to progress to the latter stages of the competition, which is something Tyler is already thinking about. He recently spoke about the one change he'd make should he and Buswell make it to the final.

“I’ve said to Dianne that if we get to the final I’ll dye my hair red like hers, let’s set that dance floor on fire as two redheads!" he said.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One, while spin-off show Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows also stream on BBC iPlayer.
