There's too much to make a comprehensive list, but we've selected some of the biggest returning shows as well as some enticing newcomers to look out for, all hitting screens at some point this year.

Joe Goldberg's creepy serial killer antics are set to continue in the fourth season of Netflix's twisted hit show.
Adding the likes of Euphoria's Lukas Gage and Feel Good's Charlotte Ritchie to the cast, all that's left is to see whether they make it to the finale alive.
The Witcher
Release date: Summer 2023
In one of the biggest pieces of entertainment news of 2022, Henry Cavill announced that he would be leaving the bath tub behind and walking away from The Witcher. (If you're still wondering why, we explore that over here.)
Season three will be his swan song as Geralt of Rivia, as he's passed the mantle to Liam Hemsworth ahead of a fourth season.
Heartstopper
Release date: 2023
Nick and Charlie captured our hearts with a love story that was as heartwarming as it was bingeable, and fans are desperately waiting to head back to Truham Grammar to check in with them and their friendship group.
The Crown
Release date: 2023
The historical drama will be returning once more for its sixth and final season, covering the late '90s to the late '00s.
The Crown's cast will largely stay the same, but new faces will be introduced to play Prince William at different ages.
Lupin
Release date: 2023
Part three of Netflix's record-breaking show is due to return to screens this year, and fans have been eagerly anticipating it for quite some time.
Omar Sy will, of course, be front and centre once more, but co-creator George Kay has also teased plenty of new faces too.
Lockwood & Co
Release date: January 27
A brand new supernatural fantasy show is coming to Netflix, based on Jonathan Stroud's series of novels.
Bridgerton's Ruby Stokes and Grantchester's Morven Christie star.
Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story
Release date: TBC
Branded "stunning" by Netflix boss Peter Friedlander, there's a lot of expectation for Bridgerton's spinoff which centres on a young Queen Charlotte (played by Line of Duty's India Amarteifio).
While its 2023 release is yet to be officially confirmed, the streaming giant has already shared a first look which indicates that we don't have too much longer to wait.
The Mandalorian
Release date: March 1
Baby Yoda will be back to munch on more macarons, along with Pedro Pascal (obvs) and Katee Sackhoff.
The Book of Boba Fett set the scene for Mando's third instalment, so if you're in need of a quick refresher you can head on over here.
Doctor Who
Release date: November 2023
We know that three special hour-long episodes, starring David Tennant's 14th Doctor, will be arriving to the BBC in November this year.
Then, Ncuti Gatwa (Sex Education) will be stepping into the TARDIS as the 15th Doctor, spearheading a whole new era, thought to be landing around the festive period.
Best Interests
Release date: 2023
Acting power houses Michael Sheen (Good Omens) and Sharon Horgan (Bad Sisters) unite in this brand-new BBC drama, which will introduce a couple as they attempt to navigate their child's life-threatening diagnosis.
Sure to be an emotive and thought-provoking watch.
Champion
Release date: 2023
Written by the author of award-winning novel Queenie, this is an original drama for the BBC.
"Champion is a celebration of Black music and a Black family, however fragmented that family might be," Candice Carty-Williams said.
Unforgotten
Release date: 2023
The shocking series four finale marked the end of the partnership between DCI Cassie Stuart and DI Sunny Khan, leaving fans wondering what the future of the ITV show might look like.
But with a brand-new co-lead for series five, in the shape of Sinéad Keenan, and the return of fan-favourite Sunny, there's more of this story to be told.

Marking Buffy the Vampire Slayer icon Sarah Michelle Gellar's return to a regular TV role, Wolf Pack is a brand new story from Teen Wolf's Jeff Davis.
Coming to Paramount+, it will follow a teenage boy and girl whose lives are shaken by a California wildfire, which awakens a terrifying supernatural creature.
