Doctor Who star Mandip Gill has revealed that she would be open for a return to the beloved series.
Sunday evening's episode, 'The Power of the Doctor', was a big episode for the sci-fi series, ending the storylines of both Jodie Whittaker's Thirteenth Doctor and Mandip Gill's companion Yaz.
However, fear not, as it may not be the last viewers see of Yaz after all.

Speaking during a Q&A screening event for the special episode, Gill opened up about her experience filming the show when she dropped a hint about her potential return.
"How many times do you go to work with your best friends? It's been amazing. The crew! [We] really were in the best hands. Every few weeks I got new best friends," the actress told Digital Spy and other press.
"I'm actually speechless that I've come away with the most amazing friends."
"We're always going to be a part of it, and you've just seen what can happen in years to come," she added, before saying with a laugh: "So if they need another companion in the future, I will answer that call."

The action-packed episode saw numerous returning faces alongside the Doctor and Yaz, including Tegan (Janet Fielding), Ace (Sophie Aldred), Kate Stewart (Jemma Redgrave), and Vinder (Jacob Anderson).
However, most surprising of all was the return of David Tennant as the Fourteenth Doctor.
Whittaker first took on the role of the Doctor – the first woman to play the character – on Christmas Day 2017, taking over from Peter Capaldi.
The Doctor will next be played by Ncuti Gatwa, who rose to fame on the smash hit Netflix series Sex Education. Showrunner Russell T Davies will be returning to helm the series for the first time in over a decade.
Doctor Who airs on BBC One in the UK. In the US, the show airs on BBC America, with series 1-12 available on HBO Max. Classic Doctor Who streams exclusively on BritBox in the UK.
