WWE has announced the date and location of this year's SummerSlam event.
SummerSlam will take place on Saturday, August 5, from Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. This marks the first time the event has occurred in Michigan since 1993.
In a statement, Dan Ventrelle, Executive Vice President of Talent at WWE said: "We are excited for Ford Field to host WWE's biggest event of the summer and look forward to the WWE Universe converging on Detroit to celebrate SummerSlam's long-awaited return to Michigan."

"Metro Detroit enjoys a special place in WWE history and has produced many iconic moments. Thank you to the entire WWE family for entrusting us with this incredible opportunity, and we look forward to delivering a first-class experience."

For fans in the UK, Detroit might be a little far afield — but, luckily, Money in the Bank will be much closer to home.
In January, it was announced that Money in the Bank 2023 will take place at London's O2 on Saturday, July 1.
Money in the Bank happening in London comes after WWE held Clash at the Castle at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff last September. It will also be the first WWE Premium Live Event to be held in London since SummerSlam 1992, which took place at Wembley Stadium.
