Monday Night Raw celebrated its 30th anniversary last month with Raw XXX, and while the show was well-received, the WWE came under fire for not giving its women enough attention.
That was especially true of female WWE legends, with only Alundra Blayze present and correct for a segment.
Last night, the WWE made up for that somewhat by not only delivering the previously abandoned Steel Cage Match between Becky Lynch and Bayley, but also by having true WWE icon Lita show up and get involved.

As we expected and despite the Steel Cage, Bayley vs Becky Lynch was anything but a 1 vs 1 matchup, with the former Hugger's DAMAGE CTRL pals Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai getting involved on her behalf.
But that's when Lita's music hit and the Hall of Famer came storming out to even things up, grabbing hold of a crutch and taking out Bayley's goons before slamming the door in her face.
That set up Becky for a win with a Manhandle Slam, before she and Lita shared a hug.
While Lita is never too far away from things in the WWE, it's been almost a year since her last proper match. She had challenged Becky Lynch for the WWE Raw Women's Championship at Elimination Chamber 2022, held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, but failed to take the title.

It seems that she and Lynch are now on good terms, which opens up a few intriguing possibilities for a potential match at WrestleMania 39, should Lita be booked for the event.
Lita could take on one of Bayley, Iyo Sky or Dakota Kai in a one-on-one match, or potentially team up with her former rival Becky for a tag match.
Also on last night's Raw, Brock Lesnar turned up and challenged his longtime rival Bobby Lashley to a match at Elimination Chamber later this month.
Meanwhile, the lineups for both Elimination Chamber matches were rounded out, with Carmella joining the Women's Match and Damian Priest and Montez Ford qualifying for the battle for the US Title.
The teased match between Edge and Beth Phoenix and The Judgment Day was made official for the Montreal pay-per-view, too.
Paul Heyman made things personal when he went face-to-face with Cody Rhodes, adding a bit of fire to the upcoming WrestleMania 39 match between his client Roman Reigns and The American Nightmare.
