With the Arrowverse now winding down, Stargirl's Brec Bassinger has reacted to the news that her show is now the last one standing.
Promoting the third series of the superhero show, which is subtitled 'Frenemies', Bassinger spoke with Decider about the cancellation of The Flash and other Arrowverse shows.
"I know people on these shows, so of course I'm sad and emotional for all of them," she said. "I've seen how much work it takes to make these shows, but I'm just so grateful for what we've gotten to do."

Stargirl, which premiered on The CW in 2020, exists in a parallel version of Earth to the Arrowverse, with the character appearing in the crossover event 'Crisis on Infinite Earths'.
Bassinger, who also starred in Bella and the Bulldogs, said she was honoured to be a part of the extended universe, adding that she was proud of the show.
The Arrowverse, which refers to the universe of television shows centred around DC Comics characters, began in 2012 with the premiering of Arrow.
This was followed by The Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow, with Black Lightning and Batwoman beginning in 2018 and 2019 respectively. All of these shows have been axed since 2020, with The Flash due to conclude in 2023 following its ninth season.

Despite the mass cancellations, Bassinger remains hopeful that Stargirl can be extended for further seasons, but she is unsure on the future of the show.
"Geoff [Johns], our showrunner, for lack of a better term, this is his baby and he's put so much love [into it]," she said. "I’ve heard Season 4 pitches, and I know he's not leaving any stone unturned to get it to continue."
Stargirl: Frenemies began on August 31, airing on The CW in the US. The first two seasons can be viewed on Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
