Supergirl actor Jeremy Jordan and Jane the Virgin actress Yael Grobglas are set to star as leads in Hallmark's latest holiday rom-com, Hanukkah on Rye.
According to Variety, this film is part of the Hallmark Channel's big holiday lineup wherein it will be screening holiday movies throughout the day starting from October 21 in the lead up to the festive season.
The official synopsis of the movie is as follows: "A matchmaker connects Molly and Jacob, but their new romance is put to the test when they realise that they are competing deli owners. Will a Hanukkah miracle keep them together?"

Besides Jeremy and Yael, the film also stars Lisa Loeb, and it will premiere on the Hallmark Channel on Sunday, December 18.
Meanwhile, Jane the Virgin's Justin Baldoni is currently working on a live-action Pac-Man movie.
Pac-Man publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment is teaming up with Wayfarer Studios for the film – which is a production company founded by Baldoni and Steve Sarowitz.
It is unclear as to what exactly the story is going to be – and what story could possibly be told about a giant yellow head running around through a maze – but Sonic the Hedgehog writer Chuck Williams is said to have worked on the original storyline.

Elsewhere, Gina Rodriguez, who played the titular character of Jane on the show, is set to make her return to TV with ABC's pilot comedy Not Dead Yet.
The show is based on Alexandra Potter's international bestselling novel Confessions of a Forty-Something F**k Up, published in 2020, and according to Deadline, it will see Rodriguez in the lead role.
Hanukkah on Rye comes to the Hallmark Channel on December 18.
