The date and location for Ring of Honor's next PPV has been announced. Ahead of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday (January 11), it was revealed that ROH Supercard of Honor 2023 will take place on Friday, March 31.
The event will be held in Los Angeles at the Galen Center at USC, with a special bell time of 4pm PT. Tickets for the event will go on sale on Friday, January 27 and will be available at aewtix.com.
Supercard of Honor falls on the same day as WWE SmackDown and the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, as part of WrestleMania 39 weekend.
During Wednesday night's Dynamite taping, AEW boss Tony Khan told fans that the show would feature talent from AEW and other promotions from around the world.
Khan announced he had purchased Ring of Honor in February 2022, ahead of their Supercard of Honor PPV that April. Since Khan's announcement ROH has produced three PPVs, with the most recent being Final Battle in December.
Following Final Battle, Khan announced that he was relaunching ROH's streaming service Honor Club, which would eventually feature weekly ROH television. ROH PPVs, however, will not air live on Honor Club.
Last month Khan told TV Insider he believed ROH was in the "strongest position" its ever been in. "There are a lot of interesting partnerships and possibilities with great wrestling companies," Khan said.
"Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling had a great working relationship we are rekindling. We are looking to rekindle that long relationship. Ring of Honor may be in the strongest position they’ve ever been in its 20 years. It’s the perfect time to take the training wheels off."
