Love Island spoilers follow.

Tonight's (February 8) episode of Love Island featured another recoupling cliffhanger, with one of the girls at risk of being dumped from the villa.

Following on from last night's heart rate challenge, the Islanders wasted no time getting to know new bombshell Claudia Fogarty, who had made a surprise entrance.

Her introduction certainly got hearts racing — and grabbed the attention of Casey O'Gorman, who was newly single after Lana Jenkins decided to reopen her connection with Ron.

"What a shock! She's my type to an absolute T," Casey said of Claudia. "Love works in mysterious ways. As one door shuts, another opens."

Casey wasn't the only contestant interested in the Blackburn bombshell, however. Tom Clare bonded with Claudia over their Northern roots.

The next day, Claudia started getting to know both boys, picking them for her first date by the South African coast.

First up was Tom, who was mesmerised by Claudia's "Northern charm" and emphasised their shared roots.

"You're very similar to me. And you've got very good eye contact. I love that," he told her.

However, it was Casey who seemed to really catch Claudia's eye, fitting her type of men with blue eyes and long hair.

"I was so drawn to you straight away — our chat, your energy, your smile," she told him.

"If I could picture a perfect date and a perfect girl, it would be this," Casey replied.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Islanders were discussing the potential between Jordan Odofin and Tanyel Revan. Jordan is currently coupled with Ellie Spence, but he seemed to be hoping for a spark with Tanyel, despite the others' concerns.

"You never know what's round the corner," Jordan told Tanya and Shaq after they seemingly advised him against pursuing Tanyel.

His words were clearly a sign of things to come. The group then received a text asking them to gather at the firepit for an immediate recoupling — boys' choice.

Ready or not, the boys have big decisions to make. Which girl is at risk of being dumped? We'll have to wait and see.

Love Island airs nightly on ITV2, and is available via catch up on ITVX and BritBox.
