Love Island spoilers follow.

Love Island has aired drama between Ron and Lana following the latest recoupling drama.

In Sunday’s episode (February 5), the girls made their latest decision by choosing who they wanted to pair up with.

Most followed the expected route, with Jessie choosing Will, Tanya selecting Shaq and Ellie picking Jordan. Samie, a mid-season bombshell, paired up with Tom, while Olivia opted for Kai.

This left four people remaining, with Lana causing a massive stir by choosing Casey over Ron, to whom she has been close to throughout the whole series.

A clearly devastated Ron was picked up by Tanyel, rounding out the list of couples before the next elimination.

In last night’s episode, the aftermath of the couplings was shown, with a wedge being driven between Ron and Lana.

They had seemingly patched things after the events of the ‘Ladiators’ challenge, which saw Ron refer to Lana as his “queen”.

This didn’t impress Casey, however, who was left perplexed by Ron’s actions given he had previously said he was done with her. Will they continue to quarrel in tonight’s episode, or will some form of resolution finally be reached?

In a previous segment on the show, Lana revealed that she once dated Hollyoaks star Owen Warner, who finished in second place on the most recent series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

Despite being on good terms since their split, Owen revealed that he wouldn’t be watching the latest series of Love Island, as he thought watching his old flame would be “weird”.

“She’s a lovely girl and people will love her, but I’m not going to be watching,” he said. “I feel like watching your ex move on to other people is a bit weird. I wish her luck. No doubt she’s going to smash it.”

Love Island airs nightly on ITV2, and is available via catch up on ITVX and BritBox.
