Love Island contestant Anna-May Robey was surprised to see Tom Clare's Ellie Spence and Olivia Hawkins drama unravel this week.

A victim of last week's shock double-dumping, along with Haris Namani, Anna-May caught up exclusively with Digital Spy for the 'Spy in the Villa' Q&A.

"That's a really difficult question," she said after being asked who Tom really wants to couple up with.

"I thought he was quite comfortable with Zara, but seeing the last couple of episodes... maybe not – because that ended. But maybe Olivia, I wanna say?

"But then the episodes from the other night as well have thrown me off... but then I think maybe Olivia more than Ellie at the minute."

Anna-May then explained why she didn't anticipate Tom's head to be turned so strongly.

"He spoke to Olivia and then he was lipsing Ellie on the terrace. I was a bit like, 'Ohhh no!' and it was as soon as he'd had that conversation with Olivia... so it did shock me a bit.

"But yeah, I do think that him and Olivia definitely have something there, and I can definitely see them gravitating back towards each other."

In Monday's episode, Tom and Ellie snuck in a second rendezvous after enjoying a kiss on the terrace.

"I would love to have a little cuddle with you in bed. We'd have to sleep downstairs, though, because I feel like we'd be too loud," Ellie told Tom.

"Things would get heated," Tom said in response, before Ellie pointed out that it needed to happen as soon as possible.

Love Island airs nightly on ITV2, and is available via catch up on ITVX and BritBox.
