The Great British Bake Off spoilers follow.

Bake Off contestant Janusz Domagala has unveiled a brilliant detail about his outfits on the show following his exit.

Eliminated earlier this week, the baker – who's openly gay – has revealed he tried to replicate the Pride flag by wearing different colours across the season.

Janusz took to Twitter to share a collage of his outfits matching the stripes in the rainbow flag, also including the colours of the trans flag (blue, pink and white) and a black stripe for the Black community.

"Being chubby, gay and the first Polish national contestant on GBBO, I knew I had a lot to represent walking into the tent," Janusz wrote in a message accompanying the picture.

"I wanted to do this by setting myself a little challenge to wear a colour of the Pride flag each week and hope that I could tick them all off!"

In his final episode on the show, the contestant baked a Swedish-inspired biscuit sculpture meant to represent his experience at Brighton Pride in the UK. Sadly, the execution wasn't convincing enough for judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith to give him a spot on the final.

"I love being able to be a part of so many different communities and Great Britain is a home that's allowed me to do that," Janusz also said in his message to fans.

"Thank you SO much for taking me in and embracing me and for the love, support and fun over the last nine weeks, and thank you to every person who was in that tent on and behind the camera with me who became family!"

The Great British Bake Off airs on Channel 4 in the UK. In the US, it's known as The Great British Baking Show, and streams on Netflix. Bake Off: An Extra Slice, hosted by Tom Allen and Jo Brand, airs on Fridays at 8pm on Channel 4.
