The Great British Bake Off spoilers follow.
After last week's double elimination, tonight's (October 11) Great British Bake Off only saw one contestant say goodbye to the tent. But who was it?
Following a Dessert Week disaster, it was Carole Edwards who was sent home by Paul and Prue Leith. Let's recap what led to the judges making their decision.
The bakers were tasked with making eight individual steamed puddings of their own design for the Signature challenge. Not only did they have to create something tasty, but it had to withstand the steaming process.
Poor Carole was told at the start of the episode that Paul didn't want to see any mistakes, but her puddings weren't cooked and were differently sized.

Syabira's desserts were criticised for an 'artificial' watermelon flavour, while Janusz was similarly told there was "overkill" in his flavourings, and Dawn and Kevin were both marked down for presentation. On the other hand, Sandro thought he was incredibly close to getting a handshake after Paul's praise.
For the Technical, the bakers were asked to make Prue's favourite: a lemon meringue pie. While it's an absolute classic, those who didn't know how to make one beforehand were stumped at the instructions singular instruction: "1: Make a lemon meringue pie."
Viewers were mixed on whether Prue's 'recipe' was top-tier trolling or unnecessarily brutal:
Prue had faith in the bakers to pull it off, but warned that they needed to work on their base enough to avoid a dreaded soggy bottom.
Carole managed to avoid being last in the Technical, as Syabira and Dawn both struggled with their desserts. Syabira had the excuse of not really knowing what one was, but Dawn admitted that she makes them all the time.

For the Showstopper, the bakers had to create a visually spectacular mousse-based dessert with a hidden surprise of their choice inside, with three further dessert elements as well.
There were some ingenious designs – Janusz' rainbow cupcake within a cake, Abdul's space cake (not like that), Sandro's Planet Earth bake, to name a few – but some of them were too ambitious for the time they had.
Dawn's surprise toadstool completely lost its shape in the oven, Abdul, Carole and Maxy's flavours were too gelatinous, while Syabira's bee design lost its shape a bit.
In the end, Sandro beat off Janusz to become Star Baker, while Syabira and Dawn narrowly avoided getting sent home.
"Very proud of myself. I came here to achieve something as I get older," Carole said. "Those bakers, what a great bunch of people."
Next week, it's a Halloween-themed week, but whose worst nightmare will come true?
