The Masked Dancer unveils Bake Off star as latest celebrity

Who's that behind the mask?

The Masked Dancer UK spoilers follow.

The Masked Dancer has unveiled another celebrity in its latest episode (October 8).

This week saw Pearly King, Onomatopoeia, Sea Slug, Candlestick, Scissors and Odd Socks perform, with Candlestick being the unlucky one sent packing.

Jamie Laing, Olly Murs, Ore Oduba and Jason Orange were amongst the judges' guesses, but it turned out to be TV presenter and former Bake Off contestant Liam Charles in the costume!

Upon his reveal, Liam told judges Peter Crouch, Davina McCall, Oti Mabuse, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan that he'd loved every minute of doing the show.

"You're really good, you know that," Mo told him.

"I promise you, I have zero dance experience," Liam insisted.

"I wanted it to be a massive surprise because no one would actually expect me to do something like this – especially wearing like a tight costume! I've absolutely loved it. It was so fun."

Last week saw an unmasking bonanza, with two acts leaving the competition.

Pillar and Post were forced to withdraw from the show following injury, and were revealed as former footballer David Seaman and his professional skater wife Frankie Poultney.

Former Dancing on Ice pro Frankie said: "We were gutted as we absolutely loved every minute!

"It was great fun but a tumble meant our Masked journey came to an end too soon. We had such a blast and we were sad that we had to hang up our masks without being able to share our final dance with you all!

"We have loved being part of this series and we wish the other competitors the best of luck as we continue to watch at home and try to guess who all the other celebrities are!"

Later on, Tomato Sauce got voted out, and was revealed to be TV host Steph McGovern.

"I love the show and I love dancing," she said as she discussed her reasons for taking part. "Getting to dance as a completely different person/character is thrilling!"

Next week, the show reaches the semi final stage where two celebs will be unmasked.

The Masked Singer and The Masked Dancer air on ITV.
