RuPaul's Drag Race UK contestant Cheddar Gorgeous would "absolutely" return for another series of Channel 4's Drag SOS.

Airing back in 2019, the format featured Cheddar alongside fellow queens Anna Phylactic, Lil, TeTe Bang and Liquorice Black as they toured the country in a bid to help those craving an explosion of glitter in their lives.

Now, as a result of fan outcry for more, Cheddar has hit up Channel 4 directly over on Twitter.

"Just in case @Channel4 were nervous or embarrassed about reaching out, and to clear up any ambiguity... I absolutely would, I loved the show and am ready at the drop of hat for season 2 #DragSOS," her thread began.

"Four years later and still so many people ask me about this, especially after it made its way to @NetflixUK ... no idea where the ball went but it's definitely not in my court."

It comes as no surprise to see that the reality TV star's followers backed her message, with one individual writing: "Yes!!!!!!!!!I LOVED this show. It was so positive, and warming. It was like getting a hug, and a warm blanket and cup of cocoa all together.

"It's such a wonderful concept and brings so much joy and happiness to people. Please please do another series."

Cheddar, who participated in the fourth series of Drag Race UK, recently spoke with Digital Spy about the pressures of doing the show.

"I felt going in, I was at the same level as everybody else. And I felt like that was the right way to embrace it: just to treat every single day as a challenge and a little bit of fun," she said.

RuPaul's Drag Race UK airs on BBC Three in the UK and streams on WOW Presents Plus in the US.
